I have found this an invaluable source of information for first time owners of the pekingese they are so canny and loving but have their own quirks that this book helps with, I would recommend any one with a pekingese get a copy just as you would get a lead, collar, bowl, bed,and food a must!

I’ve been vary impressed with the whole of Pekingese savvy. it’s really helped me understand my little bundle of fluffy energy and realise how to deal with every aspect of his training i’ve had dogs all my life but he’s so different to any breed i’ve had before. This is more than a training guide it’s more like a step by step instruction manual.

I found Pekingese Savvy very helpful, mainly with the little tips in training and problem areas. My puppy started to dig when he was in a playful mood, I followed the instructions and now no more digging and no more muddy face and paws!!! Training is going well however Ollie is a lover of food so some commands are taking longer (stay for example) because all he wants is the treat and he won’t wait for anyone… I am persisting though!!

After getting my Pekingese from an animal shelter, I set about trying to find some info about mainly toilet training and separation anxiety issues. I started with the internet and came across Pekingese Savvy, especially for the Pekingese breed. I was excited to see it described my dog to a tee and decided to purchase straight away.
